They don't make land no more... but who needs land? We have cyberspace !

Was wondering if not too many years from now, we no longer will have huge supermarkets. Only virtual ones.
Maybe people could wear those virtual reality eyeglasses they show, and do all shopping at home. Instead of clicking here and there, one could wear those eyeglasses and go shopping virtually, just like going to a supermarket. So there will be still advertisements tho' only virtually.
Certainly would save a lot of space and be a lot cheaper once the technology is available.

Maybe this could be extended to going to the movies too. Just wear those glasses and enter a movie theater and watch the latest blockbuster, of course you will still need a state of the art surround sound system, but im assuming that will e standard by the time.

They don't make land no more? That's why we created our own .. cyberspace. Now we can build the fanciest Vegas-style shopping malls for a fraction of the cost.

Chew on that!
Oh man! Got screwed in the operations exam today :( Got so confused in the question on capacity, started calculating the throughput time instead of the cycle time, and the short time duraiton didnt help at all !
Anyway, I need to catch up to make a decent grade here.

Am looking forward to the Entertainment seminar in NY on Friday. That should be a good change and hopefully I will get some ideas and meet some interesting people (read: people who have internship offers for me!)
